Getting Back in the Swing of Things

After a little break to entertain my husband's family over Thanksgiving, I'm back in my sewing room and pumping out new bags from new fabrics in new styles. I love it. I had just listed about 14 new bags when I told myself, "self, I'm going to make a bowl of popcorn and I'm going to watch an old movie on television this afternoon. Now that I'm up to 32 bags, I can take a break." Well, after my movie I checked and poof, 3 bags were gone. Bittersweet, back to the sewing room.

I'm leaving for Maine again in January and packing up my bags to take them with me for sale while I'm caring for my mom. It's my turn again. I love being in Maine with her and this time my daughter, Hillary (21), who just graduated from college this week, is coming with me. She is a Maine girl as well and just can't stay away any longer. She is moving back. I can't image what my life will be like without her in it every single day but maybe now it is time for me and my husband of 26 years to reconnect. It sounds scarey but we will see what happens.

Check out the shop for all my new stuff. And, I'll be changing my shop name and moving shortly but will keep bagladybags going for buyers to see feedback and sales. I just want a name that better protrays the type of bags I sell - needlework bags.
