My Newest Obsession
Well, I saw an online tutorial to make these babies and I CANT STOP! I didnt really think of selling them until I saw the pile of boxes next to me grow and grow! I love seeing what each one looks like when it is finished. Yes, I am a paper nerd! There are so many uses for them: jewelry, notes, party favors, candy, charms, trinkets, paperclips, stickers, a heartfelt letter to your sweetie, gifts, Aunt Ednas Grand Marnier Truffles*, memorabilia, keys, screws... I originally was making them from the pages of a beautiful catalog I received, but then I graduated to using scrapbook paper. I am in love...
Oh, and did I mention that they are true origami? I start with a square of paper and end up with what you see without altering, gluing, or cutting the paper in any way!

*I dont have an Aunt Edna, but Im sure if I did, her truffles would be wonderful!!

these are scrumptious! Don't through away old 2007 calendars, the paper has a bit more body, sometimes that *sheen* and the art work makes for the most surprising box-ie results.
