While I missed my 3 seconds (or however long it was) of fame on the front page, one of my items is in the treasury connected to a Storque article today, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Comments on the article mention the items being featured on the front page, so that paired with the recent burst to 259 views on the item featured makes me think that the rumor is true---one of my items FINALLY made it to the front page!! It starts tomorrow at 8am, but I just set up my shop so I'm ready to go, even from a computer-access-less student teaching position allllll day up in Montclair. Hopefully I will return in the late afternoon to lots of sales!! (or at least one) :) Hopefully over the course of the week I'll be able to post a few more prints, too.... maybe even make another recycled greeting card or two. After all.... my portfolio is finally DONE!!! :)

I've just recently started to dabble in mixed media creations--specifically, watercolor surrounding, extending, and/or complementing my photographs. I just have to say--I LOVE it!! I'm so excited to be extending my repertoire... AND so excited to be painting, too :) It's such fun, and I really like the effect it creates! Keep your eyes peeled for my first and many more watercolor-photo-creations!!

I've given myself the test, and passed--I've attended class every single Monday and Thursday for the past ten weeks. So now I trust that I am in the groove, and will continue to go and yoga my way into yogi-dom. I can't wait! I'm loving this Namaste! almost as much as I love nature and crafting....
