Well, I know it has been a while since I have been on. Our oldest boy graduated in June, and with all that was going on with that, it has been hectic. After graduation, we took him to stay at my mother's house in New York state. We had lived in NY for several years, and he wanted to go to college with his friends. To do that without going broke, he has to establish residency. So, for the next two semesters, he will be taking a couple of courses at the local community college where my dad worked.…

I just posted some more Easter baskets today. They are just gorgeous---large, oversized with thick handles that are just perfect for little hands. All are made from cotton fabric in Easter prints with a coordinating cotton fabric lining. As always, between the two layers is armo fleece, giving the baskets body.

I just posted two Easter baskets.
This adorable and generously-sized bag is perfect for filling with gifts and candy or for an Easter egg hunt. It also would make a fun addition to your Easter decorations. I have added some new items to my page---all of them from different mediums!
First, I have added two pair of knitted slippers. Knitted from worsted weight yarn, they are cozy, warm and durable. The slippers fit a youth size 4 up to an adult size 9.

Well, we are in our new home in Fairfield, Ohio. My husband had been working in Cincinnati since mid October while the kids and I stayed in South Bend. He finally found us a place TWO WEEKS ago, and we moved within a week. So we have been here for almost a week now. Needless to say, the unpacking has been horrific, but is almost done. Once the main things are done, I can start to get some order to the den---which has become home to my sewing room and my husband's computer desk.

Thanksgiving is less than a week away and, with it, the biggest shopping day of the year: Black Friday. With the weather getting worse (at least, in my neck of the woods!) and the crowds, I think I will opt of going out on Friday. I have just added two new crafts to my page. The first is a very unique placemat. A typical everyday plastic placemat has become a chalkboard on one side. The other side remains plastic with activities that can be completed with dry erase markers, washable crayons, or white board crayons. A terra cotta pot, perfect for holding the chalk or other writing tools, completes the package.
