Adventures into using a bead loom

I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of using a bead loom since I was eight. After seeing a bead loom for sale at my local craft supplies store (Lincraft), I finally took the plunge to take one home to play with. This is a really cute set. There are 4 different prints-2 are hello kitty and 2 are my melody. All are half yards for a total of 2 yards.



You get exactly what you see in the pictures.



They all measures about 50 x 100 or 19.7 x 38.4 inches.



The edges are unfinished. They are 100% cotton.

Homebrewing beer

It's a few days yet from being kegged, once it goes in the barrel it'll sit for a further 14 days to mature and develop more flavour. I'm actually really excited to try the finished product at the end of the month! Using a kit has taken quite a bit of the work out from the complex procedure of creating a mash and you're also benefiting from the breweries experienced blending.

Vintage Japanese Kashigata Sweets Mold Mt Fuji

Often made of sakura (cherry wood) and seasoned for about 3 years before carving, kashigata were used to make dried confectionery made of rice flour and sugar called rakugan.
