These are really gorgeous!! I made these using cotton fabric that has a chiyogami paper pattern. Beautiful chrysanthemums on a green background with lots of sparkling gold! These have a lining to prevent glare from the silver button base.
They measure 1 1/2" (3.81cm). The ones in the picture are the ones you will receive.
In Japan, the chrysanthemum is very important. Here…

These Vintage Plaster Letters (circa 1940's) made it to the front page of Etsy today. They were originally used to make movie titles in the 40's.
The letters are 1.5" high and vary in width. They are pretty smooth, no longer white, slightly dirty from use, but considering that they are more than 60 years old they are in great shape!
Each letter has two pins in the back. Use the pins to connect the letters to your art work or clip them off. The plaster can also be…

I'm busy building up my new shop with inventory. I have lots of new patterns, fabrics and styles to make. I'm anxious to get them done and into inventory but my mom is my first priority at this point. She is recouperating from radiation treatment and I'm here with her trying to get her back on her feet. It is a rough road for her but we are trusting in God that His plan includes her getting back to feeling more like herself. So, while she naps, I sew and I'm finding that the items I sew mean…

For the month of January
Bubbo Designs committed to donate 15% of total sales to the
Darfur Stove program. Calculating sales both on etsy and in person as well as products I traded for help or services I got a figure of about $42. I had hoped to raise $50 so I figured I'd just round it up.
For the month of January we will be donating $50 to the Darfur Stove project, this will buy two and a 'half' stoves…

"Two-faced Jane" is the newest offer on bARTer Sauce. I think I'm in love with her giant, mutant button eye. There's just something about it. Maybe deep down I wish that I, myself, had a giant, mutant button eye instead of a regular eye. Perhaps that would make my cat cease and decist on the waking me up by sniffing my…

I've come a long way in my pen turning. Looking back, I reflect on spending a lot of cold winter nights in my garage, creating spindles over and over again, not really sure what I was going to do with them. There was uncertainty about it all as I wondered " can I do this?"...I persevered and now I am able to make a really nice pen. Sometimes I get busy and forget all those cold winter nights. Now it seems so long ago but now I realize the time spent in the cold garage was well worth it.

This great Goats Milk Peppermint Frog Soap is perfect in many ways. Highly moisturizing goats milk is a natural emollient that help soothe and moisturize the skin. It contains viamins a,b6,b12 and e.
