About Me:: I'm a 25 year old married redhead in a crazy part of my life. I'm still exploring styles and mediums and don't intend to stop. My most recent acquisition is leatherwork, but I'm an accomplished seamstress (historical costuming, corsets, bags, and even day to day stuff) and I have every inclination to start combining techniques.
I love fantasy and historical wear, which got me recently into steampunk and my beloved goggle-making. I've sewn for the renaissance faire, and professionally did later periods like Victorian, Edwardian, and early turn of the century. I've made modern formal gowns, and even my own wedding gown.
I can't wait to get some of the things I've been experimenting up and online to share with the world--I've come up with some techniques I can't find anyone else doing.

To fill out my store, (so it isn't so empty all the time), I'm making steampunk themed keychains that I hope to have up by the weekend.
I stocked up on supplies yesterday, and have more coming in the mail. Bought several gorgeous hides, lots of little brass bits, buckles... in other words plenty of goggles. I just need to order the makings of more lenses, because goggles without lenses are like ice cream without whipped cream... or body parts without whipped cream....

This is unusual

I sold EVERYTHING in my shop.
EVERYthing
everyTHING
I have an empty shop, and, with no digital camera, no way to fill it up.
So, it means that I'm taking a shop break, and focusing on making things and working on doing some packing for my impending move.
When I come back, I want a nice full shop with lots of fabulousness.

[ Draft ]

I'm going to be moving, somewhat to my chagrin. Things have gotten too hard living with my husband with my seizures. There's no one to take care of me during the day. So we're moving in with my mom and dad. This means my scant "okay" time is going to be spent doing moving things. Less crafting time, supplies packed in boxes, and when I move in, barely any space to create in.
