- I am a self taught jewelry designer. Since I was young everything about beads has facinated me. The colors, shapes, textures and even the sound they make. I remember going to thrift shops with my Mom & Gram. I would spend the entire time at the counter (there is always a basket at every thrift shop of tangled beads) gazing and untangling the ball of them and using my 35 cents to buy one.I have a massive collection of beads from 500 year old Tibetan turquoise, Cloissone', vintage African trade bead, bakelite, Sworovski crystals, Bali silver etc. Esty is a perfect fit for what I believe in. The very best quality, energy and soul put into each one of my pieces. ESTY rocks!

Vintage Ribbon~BEADS~Components for jewelry making!
Hello all you lovers of hand made creations.
BEADS~RIBBONS~COMPONENTS FOR JEWELRY MAKING!
I am a jewelry designer and was wondering if any of you have worked with ribbon for the wrist and or choker components. Although I have a nice inventory of ribbons I would like feed back as to locating more ribbons and what you think is the best findings and clasps Any other experiences and ideas you have with regards to ribbons and using it in jewelry would be helpful
