About Me:
I love experimenting with colour and yarn is the perfect medium for me as I get excited by just walking past a yarn store! I specialise in cashmere blends and my favourite is cashmere/silk which is sumptiously soft to work with.
My daytime job is as an editor, I have two children - a boy and a girl - and my husband is one of those helping-out types. I'm a bit of a gym bunny and enjoy the odd glass of wine or cosmo with the girlies.
How fab is etsy!

I've got a yarn in exactly those colours - four is fine! Sometimes you need a fourth. Floristry - cool job. Read More »

Thanks for the compliment. I love yarn although the only thing I can make with it is a simple scarf. I just love all of the color combos and textures. I do make stitch markers I just can't use them myself, lol.

Hi Corky,
I have some cotton to experiment but have only tried it once so far and plan to try again some time. You need a different fixer for plant-based yarns such as cotton so I usually keep it simple and stick with citric acid and use animal-based fibres such as cashmere, lambswool, angora etc. But I do have some soda ash lurking which needs used...

Do you do any work with 100% Cotton yarn? I'd love to try hand-dyed yarns, but I can't find much selection for 100% Cottons!

Thanks for the compliment, Morrgan.
Nice to see you here. Trying to think where I've seen you before - maybe Etsy forums?
