It's October 8 and 92 degrees

Somethings wrong with that picture. It should be about 70, cool and sunny; leaves falling so I can go out with my husband and son (my daughter will miss it this year - as she is away at college) and have our annual "Catching of the leaves". We are going to cook out this evening - grilled chicken, potato pouches, fresh sweet tea - that will be nice - but I won't be catching any leaves until the weather cools off. Monday

Monday - what can you say about Monday. Well its the first day of the work week. I am usually playing catch up on something I left undone on Friday (at the office) or trying really hard to get a handle on the rest of the week. I work for my husband (we have a small printing company behind our home) - and GUESS WHAT - I also sew here. Do you know how hard it is to stay focused on your "real" job when your sewing machine, gorgeous new fabrics and unfinished projects are staring you in the face.…

Taking a break from sewing

I put sewing on hold today. I needed to catch up on some housework. Just the usual - dusting, vaccum, clean the ole fridge - sent my husband and son to the grocery store (and out for a hamburger) they invited me to go - but I told them "duty calls" must get this house finished. Me writing a blog - must be dreaming!

I have to be dreaming. I am not sure how this started. I just wanted to join a site that said "We love Etsy". Because I truly do enjoy the Etsy site - I thought that would be the thing to do. But here I am. . . .doing something I know nothing about. Now if you asked me how to make a tote bag, play "Amazing Grace", bake peanut butter cookies, etc. or if you asked me about my wonderful husband, my two amazing teenagers or my grandson - I could probably talk awhile.
