About Me:

I have been painting and drawing most of my life, when other kids where out side playing I was happy sitting in the house drawing my own paper dolls and designing their clothes. I have been doing sketches of my family for years and now I am doing portraits.
I love to find old used items and give them new life, I do mostly country primitive and shabby chic trash to treasure items, a long with handpainted soaps, some decoupage soaps and hand painted note cards and tags.
The most important thing in my life is first and formost my Family. I live and breath for them...Here are just a few of my favorite pictures of them.

NEW DOLL IN THE MAKING
I have started a Rag doll for my Granddaughter's birthday present July the 24, I plan on giving a blow by blow in pictures as I progress on it, so here's what I've gotten finished, I haven't made a doll since the early 80. Hope you enjoy following along on this journey with me.

I believe Miracles still happen

Bless the Children they can say the cutest things

I just want to say I really had a blast Fri. To make a long story short....I told a friend that I would give her Daughter and 2 of her friends, who are 7 art lessons this summer. A treasury

I was married 47 yrs ago at age 18,....46 yrs ago when I visited my Mom in Fort Worth, TX...I found this cute little lady beaded pin, and last night when I commented Redhatlady and looked at her great pins I remembered this pin that I had stuck back in my jewelry box and had forgotten...looking at it brings back sweet memories of that time in 1962 spent with my Mom. Monday, Monday

What can I say, today started off in such a great way, I woke up to check my email and found I had made a sale while I slept. How nice is that. I had sent a notice to my friends over at Tole Town about my new Etsy page and some of the sweet ladies came looking and 1 found something she wanted and left with it in tow..... a very nice suprise.
