- M & M Treasures was founded in 1992 by Michele & Mike. We sold our handcrafted treasures made from wood and paper mache at craft shows until our twins were born in 1998. Since then we have been busy raising our 5 children. We are now proud to be back in an online environment with Etsy!
We are expert makers of high quality handcrafted Oak Collapsible Baskets. The original 5 shapes have grown into a selection of over 40 shapes and sizes, many of which were originally special orders that have been added to our collection.
Each Collapsible Basket is handcrafted from a single piece of wood. From designing to selecting the wood, to cutting and sanding, each basket is a labor of love and creativity.
In addition, our store now includes a new "Jada Belts" brand of unique handcrafted belt buckles - Distinctive Belts for Women and Girls with Style!
We have a wide selection to choose from - belt buckles for both adults and children.
All items are made in our family home located in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois.

I was in the Etsy forum a few weeks ago and saw a posting asking for shops that would like to be featured on her blog. I responded and we were selected!

MnM Treasures is being featured on a Blog!
We have learned a lot about marketing over the web over the past month and have met a bunch of nice crafters/businesspeople. It is nice to see all of the information sharing that goes on.
I was in one of the Etsy chatrooms over the weekend and met Michelle from Pegasus Soap at http://pegasussoaps.etsy.com/.

The Beginning
Well, this is our first posting. We joined Etsy on 2/16/2008. Today we saw the article in the Wall Street Journal promoting Etsy and We Love Etsy. We just had to create a page!
We look forward to active participation on this blog and the groups we have joined here and on Yahoo Groups.
