About Me:

Hello, I am originally from New Jersey, currently live in South Florida, (love warm weather), in four years I'll be in South Alabama, can't wait.

I have always liked anything unique, different, one of a kind etc. Whenever I thought about what do I really want and need, invariably I would search and search but it seemed no one made what I wanted. So I would do what my Dad taught me, try to make it on my own. That caused me to try all kinds of crafts. I like a lot of different kinds of crafts, but have found my love of jewelry to rise to the fore front.

I am a wife, mother, tax practitioner and enrolled agent (licensed by the IRS), and now I am working hard to succeed as a small business owner namely designing jewlery and whatever I might conjure up. I can’t seem to be able to just sit still and do nothing.

When not working for the State of Florida as a bridge inspector, my husband builds vintage hot rods which has been his passion since he was 14 years old. I am his secretary for that and create the upholstery for each new vehicle and am trying my hand at old skool pin striping. As I have become older I seem to have developed an appreciation for anything vintage. Maybe because what used to be new and trendy when I was younger is now referred to as “vintage”. And I have come to truly believe the saying, “They don’t make things like they used to”.

Since our three children (we are a blended family) are in college, but living at home, I am getting some extra spare time to expand on my love of creating, and that is how Lula came to be.

The more time I spend on Etsy the more I like it. So much talent in one place, I hope I can keep up with it.
