- About Me:
- I make beaded crocheted accessories and wearables in fine thread and natural yarns. I use glass beads, swarovski crystals or semiprecious stones. Nature, reflected in the mountains and loughs of the South Down coast, is my big inspiration. I also love Romanticism in Art and Literature, and that works its way in things as well. I like a little tinge of Goth darkness in my work as well. I'm Irish, and did I say I love crochet when it is sculptural and freeform, quirky and fun.

Heather and Cerise Uptown Purse
I've been experimenting with making purses and bags recently. It's so satisfyling in a design sense=you have to concentrate on function and form at the same time, and not get too carried away with surface decoration. I've also started handsewing velour linings into my bags. That's been a first as well..............Here are a few I've made, one of which is sold already.

Etsy Storque Shop Local Feature-Ireland and Etsy's Irish Sellers
There aren't that many Irish folk buying and selling on Etsy, but the ones who do make plenty of noise!
