I finally gave into my anxiety and am putting together my first jewelry party. I'm nervous and exceited at the same time. I update my Etsy page tonight after procrastinating for a few days. I had some kind of brain fart (or maybe it's the cold weather over in my neck of the woods). Anyway, I posted up some new items for the cool dudes out there; some new earrings I made after being inspired by my metalsmithing class (some hammered earrings which are pretty cool if I say so myself) and a couple of other things. I was immersed in reading the forum posts about promoting one's site when I read a posting about etsy-ians promoting one another via exchanging business cards, samples, etc. Anyway, the light bulb went off or rather on....I'm going to be a vendor at a church flea market on Sunday and am putting together a flyer promoting buying handmade goods to put on my table along with my business cards.
