Time goes by so quickly. I notice this even more with our little grandson, Joey. He is 5 months old, and of course, cute as anything. Every time I see him, and how quick he changes, it reminds me of the passage of time.

He has rolled over once so far, and is reaching out and grabbing toys. He responds to his name and cranes his neck when his Pop Pop or Nanny leave the room. I see his changes from week to week and try to capture each moment of time that we have with himl.

I don't know about you, but I am enjoying the Olympics so much. I have been mesmerized for hours watching so many different sports. I especially enjoy the swimming as my step-daughter's were swimmers for quite a while.

I am also entertained by my husband and his endless directions to the volleyball players, swimmers, runners, etc. He never ceases to be a great man, and also entertaining.

After recuperting from 4 hours with my Grandsons, I settled down last night with visions of fireworks in my head. There is something about seeing the night sky light up with all those sparkling dazzling lights, that brings out the kid in us. I have seen the crankiest person get a twinkle in their eye and a smile on their face and clap along with the rest of us as we watch the sizzle, crackle and light show of fireworks on the 4th.

How is everyone doing today? We have sunny skies in Delaware, without a cloud in sight. I am blogging to keep my mind off whatever bug I caught .. uugghh.

Even my dog, Prancer, an Italian Greyhound, is being a bum today. Of course, he is a couch potato most days. We had ourt puppy go through the screen door. (It was night, and she couldn't see). Anyway, he now thinks the not so lovely hole in the screen is his doggie door. The screen door repair is on the list for this coming weekend.

Had a great day today. My youngest grandson, Joey, was baptized. He is 10 weeks old, and a strapping 17 pound. He doesn't miss a meal.

I also had the opportunity to visit with family and friend, eat, drink, and be merry. All and all, a fantastic day.
