I'm trying, but I still seem to be so far behind. I have two upcoming shows that I'm getting ready for, and I'd also like to stock my shop in hopes that people will be flocking there for Christmas gifts. How about you guys? Are you trying to beef up your inventory for the holiday 'rush'? Or is that a myth? Hmmm....

...and I'm going to try and make the most of it! It's been a struggle for me lately. I've been so busy with family things and household responsibilities, that my sewing has taken a back seat. I'm really hoping to get back in the grove of things in the next few days...Here is something I did manage to get done. It's kind of an updated version of my Peggy Sue handbag. I made the body of the bag a bit wider and a bit deeper. I think it turned out pretty good. What do you all think?

So, I've been working on this new bag, and I think I've hit a design that I'm pleased with. I tried using this vintage piece that I found at a garage sale and I thought it would suit the bag just right. Now that the bag is done, I'm having doubts. What do you guys think? Is this bag cool, in a hippy sort of way, or is it a bit on the cheesy side?
