...and I'm going to try and make the most of it! It's been a struggle for me lately. I've been so busy with family things and household responsibilities, that my sewing has taken a back seat. I'm really hoping to get back in the grove of things in the next few days...Here is something I did manage to get done. It's kind of an updated version of my Peggy Sue handbag. I made the body of the bag a bit wider and a bit deeper. I think it turned out pretty good. What do you all think?…

So, I've been working on this new bag, and I think I've hit a design that I'm pleased with. I tried using this vintage piece that I found at a garage sale and I thought it would suit the bag just right. Now that the bag is done, I'm having doubts. What do you guys think? Is this bag cool, in a hippy sort of way, or is it a bit on the cheesy side?
