Greetings! My name is Amy and I am the designer of glorygifts.etsy.com! I specialize in customizing and personalizing unique gift items for unique individuals! I like to sew and paint and find that I use both mediums in most of my creations however I am always open to learning new crafting skills and trying different mediums so that my shop has variety. Like most of us on etsy I am learning new things everyday and am enjoying the etsy experience! I look forward to meeting others that have the same passion for handmade items!

Great Books that enlighten your mind!

I highly recommend "The Five Love Languages" written by Gary Chapman! This book and his similiar books for various age groups are very enlightening in the area of communication with others that you are in relationship with. The basic principal to his teachings is that we all have different ways that we communicate love to one another. Some of us show love by:

Do you have a knot in your necklace chain?

If so, try this!
To untangle the chain place a drop of vegetable oil on the knot and work it out with a straight pin!

Some of my friends here on we love etsy have commented on my avatar..thank you for your compliments! The photo is actually me at around age 2 with my first guitar that I received for Christmas! It was a little plastic one with nylon strings! My husband thought it would be a cute avatar photo for me since I am now playing the acoustic guitar. The photo is very "retro" you could say! LOL! It was taken in 1971 I believe...
