It's a real question right? Can fun art be fine? Fine art that is. Does it matter? Should I care? These are the questions I'm tossing around these days. I just like fun, silliness, and whimsy. I love fashion and color, yet I feel compelled to express something with meaning. My shop isn't necessarily reflective of much obvious meaning so much as I think this quandry is effecting the intensity of my work. Should I be writing this here? Why not, huh?

I may not be the wildest berry in the bunch, but no one has ever accused me of being traditional either and today was perfect for my non-conventional self! First, I got the baskets done this morning and put them on the outside step and rang the door bell. I got the idea from my husband who got the idea from his co-worker. This is my "We love Etsy" so it's a little more art-centered than my other one...I'm reconsidering having two too many blogs. My husband would think that I have plenty of words to fill both, but truth is even I can't keep up with that much verbal demand :-) Anywho, I love my dandelion thing on this page. No lights here. It's dark and it was a gloomy day. I've had some cool ideas for work so I plan to be busy, while also trying to streamline my process to spend more time with my little guy. We'll see if my plan works! In other news I went to Moto Photo for prints and they are AMAZING!!! My prints took my breath away and it's on FujiFilm paper.
