About Me:
I started out very young knitting, crocheting, and cross stitching. Thirty years later, I taught myself to sew and expanded to wood. After hitting the craft show circuit for a few years, I decided to find a more practical arena. At first, I sold my wares for Christmas and pin money. Now I am crafting to keep my sanity while raising four glorious boys!

I cannot believe how far I have come from being "just" a knitter/crocheter/cross stitcher. I now sew, paint, and work with wood. It has been a long wonderful journey---well, not always wonderful. But it has been a fabulous learning experience. I can hardly wait to see what craft comes around the next corner!

SO glad to be back....

Well, I know it has been a while since I have been on. Our oldest boy graduated in June, and with all that was going on with that, it has been hectic. After graduation, we took him to stay at my mother's house in New York state. We had lived in NY for several years, and he wanted to go to college with his friends. To do that without going broke, he has to establish residency. So, for the next two semesters, he will be taking a couple of courses at the local community college where my dad worked.… Continue

New Easter baskets and Peter Cottontail

I just posted some more Easter baskets today. They are just gorgeous---large, oversized with thick handles that are just perfect for little hands. All are made from cotton fabric in Easter prints with a coordinating cotton fabric lining. As always, between the two layers is armo fleece, giving the baskets body.

Also posted today was an absolutely adorable bunny basket (I like to call him Peter Cottontail!). This basket is made from white fleece and lined with white flannel (again, the armo flee… Continue

Easter Baskets

I just posted two Easter baskets.

This adorable and generously-sized bag is perfect for filling with gifts and candy or for an Easter egg hunt. It also would make a fun addition to your Easter decorations. Each bag is made from cotton fabric and lined with a coordinating color cotton and measures approximately 8 inches from the rim of the basket to the bottom. Between the two fabrics is armo fleece to give the bag body and to keep it standing up straight and tall. The handle is lined inside wit… Continue

Crafting for Sanity, Thanks for the welcome and the heads up about the link. Since I am fairly computer illiterate, can you give me an idea of what I need to do? Willing to learn, just have no on to help!
Thanks for the message!
