There's a couple of street teams for people who make things for dogs. You might look into joining them for more networking.
Might try doing some business card swaps. Maybe someone who sells collars or dog treats might be a good place to start?
Good luck!
Hi Erin,
Yes, it is a bit far for me up in Raleigh but I appreciate the invite. I will check out the craft shows. We have one in the fall here in New Bern, but it is not very high quality.

Hi there!
It's probably a little too far for you to want to join the NCTriangle street team (although you're welcome to do so), but I did want to at least mention that on our blog we've got links to 'local' craft shows. If you think that might come in handy or would like to browse the work of area Etsy stores, check it out... http://nctriangle.blogspot.com/
I live in NC with the Hooligans my two Scotties and two Scottish Fold cats. I'm a retired copywriter and started a small embroidery biz several years ago.
I concentrate on terriers, specifically Scotties, Westies, and Cairns, but on Etsy I offer other dog breeds and some cats.
Joined Etsy in early 2006 but never pushed it because I had an Ebay store. But, with Ebay changing and not for the better, I shall direct my energies towards Etsy.

Thanks for the add! Your Rainbow Bridge Sampler is adorable.
I love your scottie on the beach picture! I am a dog lover, too!
