Earlier this week I was privileged to watch the most fabulous spectacle, a lunar eclipse, when the moon (apparently) turned red.

Since then I've been working on a scood (or hood and scarf combination) inspired by the eclipse. I've just finished it and am delighted with how it's turned out! The eclipse scood is in black and red with hints of orange and has "moon phase" bobbles as well as entarsia "orbit" patterns.

As always, irrespective of epidemics or eclipses (more about them later) I'm up to the eyeballs in crochet. I've just this moment added to my photo page a couple of sneak peak photos of a hat I finished today. It is part of an order I'm presently working on and is called the "Fairy Floss Confection".

I was absolutely delighted to discover this site. What a fabulous concept it is. I'm looking forward to seeing my etsy friends and their work here as well as meeting new friends and admiring their work.
