About Me:: I’ve been a working artist for about 25 years, but have only been working with clay for a few years. Crane’s Nest Clay began in my dining room in 2002 and most of what I’ve learned has been self-taught. I must admit that for me learning to work with clay and glazes has been the ultimate test in patience and perseverance. Each piece of my ceramic art is fashioned by hand from rolled out slabs of clay, molded by my imagination and colored with inspiration from my various gardens and the many species of birds and other wildlife that inhabit them.
