Magpies love bright and shiny things that sparkle and so do I! If magpies could dream, I am sure they would dream about all the pretties I love to create. I am just starting in my second career as a Presbyterian Pastor after working as a Postmaster in the USPS. Designing and creating jewelry is an exciting way to engage the senses and indulge in beautiful dreams.
Hi there, Thanks so much! I'm so drawn to the 'old' things..... :) I like to think back of how the people looked and lived with every piece I get! Thanks again & have a great weekend! :) ~Darline
Thank you! The beach glass used in most of my rings I pluck myself from the beaches near my house. The shabby chic button ring was also a vintage button I found on the beach in Manitowoc. I also try to buy my supplies and vintage components locally, so in a way they are found near the beaches LOL!
Ken and Barb......My apologies, I've just read the comment you have left on my page and have to say that the positive comments you gave on my work was very much appreciated. It's difficult at times when a person works alone to know what other people really think of their workand how it's presented. Thanks! And it's fantastic that you've visited Scotland, you must have enjoyed it to go back. I've been to Skye once, (an overnighter) and my friend Sandie lives there. We were on the same glass art course together. Thanks for hearting my shop and I hope you enjoy your next visit to Scotland when you retire........:)
