I've found a great way to volunteer while making cards at the same time. Keiki Cards http://www.keikicards.org/ is a nonprofit group based in Hawaii that sends out handmade cards every week to children with life threatening illnesses. Being a volunteer is easy. All you have to do is make the cards and send them in, Keiki Cards handles all the rest. If you have the time, and some extra cards you should consider sending in a few. I'm planning to send car

I've been working on cards and a few mixed media and acrylic pieces for the Etsy store(www.calabashcreations.etsy.com) and an upcoming craft fair. I like this set of cards a lot. I like the color combinations and the cute brad tags with their simple flair. I'll be busy working on a few more sets this week. I can't wait to get busy with the pile of papers that I just got!

I've been keeping busy working on adding some new cards to the Etsy store and getting stuff together for a few local shows. Take a peek at a cute set of button note cards that I just listed.

I really like these, and now I'm actually going to make a set for myself!
