I Took the Handmade Pledge....

...how about you? For the most part, I try and make gifts each year. Not just for family, but for my kids' friends too. Since they are girls, it's easy! I've bartered with one friend already.... I LOVE to barter!!!!
She is sending me a hand painted plaque of a horse for my niece and I'm beading her a pair of christmas earrings....
How cool is that? So what cool things are you doing for the holidays?

EGADS!!

I've gone and done it! I decided to start an Art Doll Street Team on Etsy... I've already set up a Flickr group and sent a bunch of emails... So, I'm going to cut and paste the spiel here:

For those that make Art Dolls (and dragons and other creatures) and sell on Etsy, I'm starting a Street Team for all of us. I plan on doing monthly challenges, setting up a blog and Theme based contests. I really want to promote the Art Doll!

Happy Labor Day!

Hope everyone had a safe and happy weekend! We had lots of big equipment in the backyard today as they broke ground on our pole barn... Lots of dust and excitement!

I've been trying to add at least a couple things a day in my Etsy shop and become pro-active with my shop and selling my stuff. It seems to be working - thanks!!!!!

I also decided to make everything in the shop have Free Shipping! Easier for me and better for you!…
