- About Me:
- I was born designing clothes! Sewing since I was 5 for my dolls, I made all my own clothes and went to the Fashion Institute of Technology in NY and worked in the industry designing children's, ladies clothing and lingerie. I stopped to raise my two sons and became a stay-at-home mom. Now… they are grown and gone, a granddaughter and one children's boutique later, I find myself on Etsy...passionately designing again! I create everything I make from scratch, look for unique fabrics and make one of a kind things, because I believe every child is special and I try to express that in the things I create. Having the experience of being a mother and a (young, not the rocking chair image type) grandmother I take extra care in everything I do, plus I know the professional standards required to make each garment just right.

Changed my banner! Now it has my shop name, and says that any day spent with a child is a very special day!
Switched from calling my clothing collection "Belly Buttons" to "A Very Special Day" which is my shop name, hoping to reflect more what my clothes are all about. I've added a few more spring items, some A line swing dresses and some Mary Jane shoes, some booties coming for boys and I can't wait to get started on my layette collection. Also I have lots of ideas for little boys planned in the near future. There is not enough out there for those little guys so I plan on dressing them up in brigh
