About Me:: I've always felt the allure of jewelry in my soul, and I've finally started to listen to that voice after being a knitter for a decade. I love the personalities that arise from jewelry -- the elegant pearl earrings that whisper in your ear, or the edgy button pendant that sings along to your favorite rock song.

I started by making earrings for myself some months ago. After enough inquiries from my friends and family, I gave some out as gifts. I discovered a love of jewelry making, particularly that weekly pilgrimage to the bead store.

"L'aurore polaire" is French for a polar aurora, those enigmatic displays of light visible in the night sky at the ends of the earth. I've always been so inspired by nature and its inherent mysteries, and I wanted to honor my muse.

Introduction to the Knotted Lace Collection

I've added some preview photos of my new Knotted Lace collection to Flickr. (They're visible to the left in the "My Photos" box.) And I'll be adding a new photo everyday to countdown the collection's debut in my Etsy shop.

Winds of Inspiration

Sudden inspiration has struck, and I feel so blessed. I've spent the past few hours creating. My hands ache, as do my eyes, but I cannot stop. My brain is intoxicated by visions of delicate lace encircling wrists.

Expect an array of new work arriving in my Etsy shop within the week! Maybe a sneak peak, with some photographs, will appear here first.

First Entry

I just discovered We Love Etsy through a random Google search, and I'm so excited! I've been spending tons of time on the Etsy forums and working on my shop. I'm so happy to find another way to express my Etsy love.
