Been away from this site of mine for quite sometime.
I am still making wire jewelry but just haven't gotten around to editing the photos and posting them more frequent.
So, on this Sunday afternoon, here is the newly completed Twice Around the World (TAW) Bracelet.
- Wire used - 19g Stainless steel
- Stone - 10mm blue stone (not sure of the name :))
- Length - 18 to 20 cm (extendable)
Have a great Sunday!
I have been following this blog, Life on Nanchang Lu by Fiona
for a while.
Love her travel photography on life in China especially on food, glorious food :), people, places and culture.
Today she has a video on Embroidery by the Miao People of Guizhou.
As you know, I love embroidery - though I have not done any for a long long time.
Anyway, I enjoyed the video very much and I hope you too.
I think wire twisting, wire bending, wire sculpturing is somehow related to knotting or tying knots.
I experimented and created wire jewelry based on Chinese Knot here
Don of Kingfisher Design likes to tie little bows
with wire in his designs.
If you love knots, here is a Guide to Tying Knots for every occasion by FIX. (Dunno how to adjust the width of the pix...erm) - click on the pic and it brings you to the post.
Happy Knotting :)
