- I am dazed and confused newbie to Etsy but I am so excited to meet new friends and share ideas! I am working on my shop, blog and flicker. PHEW! I am a married mom of 4 and a Folk artist. I mainly do acrylic paintings on canvas, 100 yr old barnwood and so on and altered art jewelry like fimo pins, charm bracelets and so much more. I adore nature, playing guitar and My family. I am so blessed. Now if I can just get the hang of all the etsy stuff I will be complete lol! Oh and I love my kitty Salem. She is a black cat who thinks she is a parrot! She is always sitting on my shoulders or jumping on my back. She helps me with all my work!

- Hi Carmen! I have only been playing acoustic guitar for a little over a year now! I taught myself. I enjoy it very much as you do and find it very relaxing. I am always coming up with my own songs and love to experiment with different notes and making different sounds with the strings! lol! My hubbie always teases me and calls me Jimi Hendrix,etc...lol! :) I enjoy all kinds of music but mostly enjoy Christian praise songs and relaxing classical and new age music styles. I do love to play fun bluesy or rock n roll style stuff too from time to time! I enjoy the learning process with it! Its great that you too have learned on your own and are catching on quickly! It is great fun, isn't it!?! Best wishes to you and your family in all of your endeavors! It is nice to meet and chat with you!
