I reside in south central Virginia with my wonderful husband who is also my best friend and our beloved cat Max. Having a lifelong passion for unique jewelry, I decided to turn my dream into reality by leaving the 9 to 5 so I could pursue my new career of creating hand sculpted jewelry. Each sculpture whether it be a pendant, ring, bracelet or earring is a reflection of the passion I have for jewelry. The beauty about creating hand sculpted jewelry is the uniqueness each piece has, no two are alike. A piece of jewelry is like a snowflake each is unique in its own way.

Hey Tammy, no problem- you have beautiful designs so you just need to be seen! I just put the blog up last week- no I'm new with that but have been adding and posting to others blogs in an effort to be seen. As for stores I would stick to etsy, it definitely does the best for me although it took a while to get moving. I just set up on 1000markets but don't really know how that'll go- On your etsy store its all about your pictures and posting regularly (I'm not good at keeping up with that) so always try to make the best pics possible. Yours are nice and clear so thats great. Also try to get on the etsy forums and talk to people, any posts just to get seen. I think most people post just to be seen and heard, I always check out as many shops as I can when on the forums. Buyers are always there too! Flickr gets many more views than I ever expected- I just started that too but add your etsy shop when you upload a pic (try to do at least a few times a week) I plaster my etsy shop on my business cards, stickers on all gift boxes, I even have a window sticker on my car- be patient, its a tough year but I think things will get moving soon! I do my best internet sales in Jan. and Feb. for some reason- (probably just cause I'm bored!) Best, Alexis
Sorry I didn't answer your question about blogspot... I like it. I think its much easier to use than wordpress. i use wordpress for my daughters baby blog and it takes a long time to upload photos. You can change the backgrounds on blogspot too! Thats neat. I network with other moms on cafemom.com. We have a group just for etsy moms as well and we advertise on eachothers blogs as well. Thats the reason I chose tho go with blogspot. Its what everyone else uses. I hope this helps.
Hi Tammy! Welcome to the VA group! Do you blog and have you been in the chat rooms on etsy? Those are a few ways I promote my shop! If you have any questions let me know! I love your jewelry!
