Woohoo ! Hello everyone :)

I've not been around for a long time for one reason: my dear 89 yr. young mom passed away last March and my world turned around for about 11 months.
I'm not going to go on about it all but in that time we sold my parents home ( my childhood home since 1968 ), sold our place, found a lovely new abode in Aug. and have been in renovating mode since Oct. Sigh, here i go again. Just recently I had a big renovating sale to clear out my shop. I enjoy making altered art but after being with Etsy for awhile, my creative energy and joy was souring. I was becoming Etsy zombified and my joy was turning into work and trying to figure out a decent price for the customer and myself, etc...it was time to take a big break !

So now here I am making smaller items, something that's quite fun but doesn't take what sometimes feels like forever to make.
