My sister and I are the designers behind PunkPussycat. My name is Luis and my sister is Raquel. Our Family has been in the costume jewelry business since before we were born. Our dad owned his own metal casting factory for over 20 years, so naturaly, designing jewelry and findings was innevitable for us.
I graduated college about 3 years ago with a degree in fashion design and merchandising in New York City.
My sister is a stay at home mom and our merchandiser. She also recently opened her own shop on etsy called 3tinyleopards, where she features hand-painted and decoupaged wooden boxes.
Our brand PunkPussycat began as a dream about 6 years ago, my sister lived in North Carolina and would come and visit often. We would go to fast food restaurants and dream up some funky jewelry designs, back then we talked about starting our business, but procrastinated more than we actualy created. PPC actualy began and came to reality about a year ago.
Today we feature our lines exclusively on etsy and the young designers market here in New York (yes my sister is back in New York! Woo Hoo!)
We also opened a spin off store called Urban AngelFindings, where we sell findings, beads, charms and trinkets. A lot of the findings we sell are original designs we created ourselves, and metal casted ourselves.

Get your COCO back. . . .
I don't want to say that I have been discouraged lately because that would be a stretch of the truth. But, latetly I have been contemplating my choices in life. For as long as I have been an indipendent thinker, I have tried my hand at anything and everything that was of interest to me. Launching our 1st ever Men's only line. . . .
Hey Guys, if your anything like me, accessorising an ensamble as easy as jeans and T-shirts can be a pain. Our New Shop is up. . .
Hey everyone,
So sorry I've been away for what feels like forever. . .and a day.
Aso some of you know, I have been working on my new collection "Punk Royale", it has been quite a few months in the making but it's finaly here!! Also we've made a few changes. . .
For starters we changed our shop name because a few people at the street fairs were confusing us with PinkPussycat. . .and well. . . we just don't sell those kind of "accessories"

My goodness I have ben so busy at my job, I havent had a chance to log inbto WLE, I missed it like crazy. We have been updating our photos for that funky feel we do so well, so check us out when you get a chance. . .
