There was an interesting article published on August 20, 2009 in The Scotsman (http://www.thescotsman.scotsman.com) entitled Cancer risk warning over candles made from paraffin wax. We feel this is another reason to switch to candles made from natural wax. However, we invite you to read the article and decide for yourself.
