- I am a graduate of BA Hons Illustration, and specialise in jointed soft bodied puppets that have become my trademark. I use my origional illustrations within many of the items I produce and am proud of what I do!
The puppets I produce have evolved over the course of my college years, despite running the risk of being called 'unsuitable for illustration'. As a lover of stop motion I create a puppet not only with a character firmly set in mind but also thinking about how they might speak, think and move if i should ever come to bring them to life with animation.
I try to use scrap and remnants as much as possible, but I also incorperate my love of punk, burlesque and maskerade into my work. Details are always considered, right down to the colour of eyeshadow! I love to experiment with expression; the ability of clay to take the shape of any human emotion is simply endless!
