Welcome to My Creative Dream!

News, news, news....about anything!

I'm blogging! Anyone who knows me would be shocked, I swore I'd never blog, but I am thoroughly enjoying it! It's not what you'd expect from a crafter trying to sell her wares, but more of an observation of life. This weekend I will be "documenting" the creation of a Baby's First Christmas ornament that I"ll be making for a co-worker who is having her first. Come see how it shapes up! Find me at A Creative Dreamer

Last Call...

Queen Bee and Santa will expire later today. Santa may be re-listed closer to Christmas, but if Queenie doesn't go by expiration later today, I'm going to be keeping her (she's a favorite)!

You can see them both in my Etsy shop until midnight!

I finally have 100 hearts!!!

Finally, I have arrived! I just got my 100th heart on Etsy! Meet Jamiecreates!

Jamie makes the cutest creations from polymer clay...and she was kind enough to "heart" me yesterday. It just so happens that she gave me my 100th heart, so I want to share her etsy shop, Jamiecreates, with everyone! (With her permission of… Continue

ACEO cards handed out...

Early this morning I posted the "winners" of the ACEO card I've been featuring on my blog all week. Since there were so few quotes, and since I have more than one of the limited edition, hand made ACEOs, each person who responded gets one!

The newest item up for give away is there. "My heart has wings" is a small, mixed media item created from an antique quilt and polymer clay wings. If you'd like to be eligible… Continue

Last reminder...

Stop in at www.acreativedream.blogspot.com and say hi to be eligible to receive the ACEO featured there for free...all you have to do is say hi!

The ACEO will be "awarded" and a new item will be posted sometime tomorrow....

I've been looking at how to make knitting and crocheting....I've got knitting basics down - but would like to learn some more skills. The thing I've always wanted to try is spinning and looming. You know, just for curiosity's sake. I'm always curious..lol. But I think most crafters/artists are.

Congrats on the 100 hearts! ;o) Thanks for your comment on my page about my soaps. So are you interested in making soap? If you ever have any questions I'll be happy to help!

The real world....well every Monday when I drive into work I have these Great Ideas of creative stuff I'm going to get done during the week. But, Monday's are so nuts by the time I get home I just flop. It gets a little better during the week but I never seem to get done what I planned.

Just made my second Etsy sale. It was to a reviewer - that was in their title at least - I was quite nervous. But got very nice feedback.

Hopefully fall and the holiday season will bring better sales for the both of us! ;o)

Thank you, love yours too. I am a little slow at the computer so please be patient with me. It may take a while for me to respond. I appreciate your words of kindness!

Hey, how's it going? Really sweet ornaments - love the photos of the new stuff! I made my second Etsy sale last week....been a little slow. (Thank goodness I do my local farmer's market.) Anywho - just wanted to see how things were going for you. I read that your real world job had been sapping your creative energy....doesn't it feel great when it starts to return? - Michelle

Hi: I love your blog. I would love to learn how to blog. I just never have started one yet. LOL not sure I really have anything to say that would be "creative". I do make prayer shawls for friends and those that are sick. I pray with every stitch for the person I am making it for and for their needs at that time whether it is for healing or whatever. They do take a while to make but are beautiful when you get done with them. I have been sick ....more in the hospital than out the last three months so I have fallen behind in the ones I need to make. I would love to knit them but right now am just at the crochet stage. I could knit them if I could keep my 3 yr old grandson from taking my stiches off my needles!
