About Me:

Hello,
I'm a stay-at-home Grandma, keeping my 4 youngest grandkids while their Mom works. So...I am doing all I can to get my 2nd love (after the grandkids of course!) of quilting going. I love passing on the art of quilting. I love most kinds of quilts, but right now I'm mostly working with reproduction of the '30's quilts, kids quilts and photo quilts. So much to do, so little free time to learn and do it all. I just found etsy last week, so have alot of catching up to do. I DO have a blog, but need to get it going again. I will post it then. I also am working on a web site, just not ready to post it yet. I have learned so much from etsy's already and have far to go. Thanks,

Boy, I am SOOOOOOO not here!

The holidays are coming way toooooooo fast, I thought I was figuring this out, but just realized how NOT figuring it out I really am! I guess I thought in changing my page here etc it was changing my etsy page, and couldn't find what I put here......there. Also on me here, when you put in my etsy name, I don't show up. I'm here, I'm here!

Wow, I can't believe I finally discovered this! I'm so excited. I just found etsy last week, and have been so impressed with all that is going on. I have so much to learn and do. This is all so very exciting to me. Right now I have the best of all worlds! I get to be with my wonderful grandchildren each day, and the moment they disappear off to school, I get to "play" here and with my quilting. What more could one ask for? I think just being in the frantic mode, of "I have to" makes it worse. I'm trying to prioritize, but there's so much to learn. I'm in awe of all of you that have lots and lots of beautiful things on! I have planned and planned for years to do this, but had grandchildren to keep (4 was quite a bit in the small stage) now they are bigger I have some free time, but when they are home they are in so many things! Guess that is why I LOVE handwork. I can do it as I go. For years I did it while they played, while watching them, now I do it while I'm waiting for their various things to be finished. I always take a bag with me to work on. I would probably get more done if I could stay off the computer, but there's so much to learn, so many places to go. I don't know if this is all above me, but today I'm meeting myself coming and going. I have one gs to a band competition, one to a soccer game, one to sign up for basketball, errands in *town* , on to the band competition, one to get to (and go with) a cookout for her church group, gs (the band one) back from band and on to homecoming tonight.....and one sick one. Luckily there are 3 of us (adults) to get this all done, still we are running in and out and here and there today. I think tomorrow there's not as much going on. I will try to shut myself in the room and spend some time trying to figure this all out. Thanks for letting me know that I still have lots to learn. I appreciate your help.

I have never that I know of, been given a link address so I can send others there. I still have so much to do and learn. Having 4 grandkids here, and their various school/church activities and trying to get our business up and running and all the aspects of it keeps me going from way too early to way too late! Not enough time, so I really appreciate all your help. I'm still trying to figure out how everyone gets there sites so nice and has headlines so put together. Guess you can tell I'm a dinosauer living still partly in the dark ages!:)
