Busy Busy

I finally bought a sewing machine, but I am having issues getting it to work… I’ll figure it out eventually.

In the mean time, I’ve been busy knitting a scarf and starting a new role at work. Its been a busy couple of months, but things are finally starting to calm down, and I should be able to start listing items in my store again.

I am quite looking forward to getting the sewing machine working, I have quite a few projects around the home that I want to get taken care of.

Sewing Machine

I finally went ahead and bought a sewing machine. I got it from Goodwill, so I am hoping it works out ok. I haven't used a sewing machine in one heck of a long time, so I am going to practice and play around with it this weekend.

I really got it for projects around the home, but if I do OK with it, I might try out some new ideas that i"ve been having. I am keeping those a secret for now though.

I finally sat down and knitted a few more lines of my baby blanket, its gradually getting there :)

Lastest News

There is going to be a Contry Fair type thing at work, and I am going to display some of my cosies. I made a display bowl for them with an LP that I bought for $.50 at the weekend. I thought it was fun. I was going to make a bowl, but I didn't want the label to get lost, so I tried to raise the label. It didn't work out quite as I planned, but I like that its wiggly. I have another couple that I can play with, and see what I can make.

Not sure if I'll get any sales out of this, but perhaps I'll get some awareness, which won't harm anything.

Moving

You won't hear much from me for a few days, as I am moving. However, I do have an order to make some more dragon tags, so that is fun.

I have also been busy this evening trying to make some change of address cards, but I don't seem to be able to get them how I want. Oh well, I'll get there in the end.

I am not sure which I like best, the bright coloured background, or the grass. What do you think?

Earring Critique/Advice

I totally agree with Linda. I would say it has more to do with the niche for rosaries. Your items are lovely. I will be stopping by again (to make a purchase) once I get moved into my new home. Read More »

My Mini Etsy Store

Not enough time in the day

I have been so busy with moving, work and finding a home for an abandoned kitty, that I have been neglecting my etsy store. I have managed to get a couple of items listed, but I have not been spending as much time promoting my store.

That said, I have sold a couple of items, which is good, that makes me quite happy.

I am able to knit on my way to and from work now, as I take the light rail there. It gives me about 40mins of knitting a day, not a lot, but at least its something,…

I was gone, but now (obviously) I am back

I was gone for a while, but now I am back again. I've been busy with everything else apart from knitting and painting. I'll be moving this weekend, and then next week, I'll be back in full force.

I have however had a request to create more of my dragon fly tags so th…

The colours as I was knitting it, reminded me of raspberries and ice cream... scrummy.

Hi Caromie! Love your shop! You have such a wide variety of items. The ipod cozy is my favorite. :)

I'm so glad to see that you liked me 'EnvironMENTAL' pins. And yes! I can make them into magnets. :) Feel free to convo or e-mail me if you'd like me to create a custom Etsy listing for you. :D

ah...did the wedding have traditional Scottish dancing? Coz if it did then those type of weddings are the best, I just have a great laugh at these dances as I can't dance to save myself. I still live in Scotland but lived on the Isle of Man for ten years so know how you can get homesick at times.
