I'm a Christian who loves the Lord who gives me all the wonderful abilities to create things with my hands...I love to crochet, knit make floral arrangements, weddings, paint but most of all make jewelry...it's not only theraputic, but rewarding as well...wonderful gifts too. Would love to be able to see some to help hubby with our financing since I've been disabled and unable to work for about 4 years now.. So nice to meet so many great people here!!!

Today is a bright and sunny day!

As days go..

Today I'm struggling to accept that I had my dear sweet dog, Bear to sleep yesterday. You might say we lost one of our best friends cuz we had him from a very young age to now...18 yrs. Over the past couple years he's been suffering with arthritis in the hips, and at one point wasn't able to move his hind quarters. Remadyl helped till this last year! He'd gotten so he didn't want to be touched....no hugging so we had already started grieving for the dog we knew...He was a red border collie wi

Today.

Today I'm feeling great...the sun is shining and the birds are chirping and I see many of the birdhouses I've painting and placed in the trees filled with new mom's and dad's scurring around making their nests...soon there will be little ones filling the birdfeeders. We are so blessed to live in the middle of the woods...yes, our home is nestled down in between old trees...5 acres of pure God's land..ehehhe!! I am here to say....Happy Friday the 13th...many people have a problem with it, but it's always been a good day for me. hummm...every day that I wake is a good day!! Thank you Lord. At 3:32pm on May 27, 2008, Beverly A Sams said…: Wow what a wonderful, and beautiful long weekend did we have. The sun was out as never before...it was just perfect. Played around in the flowerbeds and did some ordering for lumber to redo our back deck...am really looking forward in getting that one done. We also bought paint for the exterior of our house...just till we get someone to put up siding...not always easy when waiting for someone to find the time...we've been waiting for over a year to get the crown molding and chair rail done..ehehehe!!! It's ok. One day!!! hehehe!!
Today we had more rain and of course I watered my beds...I asked our Lord to give me a little sign before sprinkling over my land..eehehhe!!

We will be staying home to work in the flowerbeds and get one of my raised veggie beds planted. We've had so much rain here in VA this month. My husband, Dewey made the first of 4 it stands 3ft high and 10ft long...well plant tomatoes first then when the others are done will put in squash, cucs, peppers and perhaps onions...my herb garden is thriving with all this rain. Now we'll have a couple days of drying out before it rains again Tuesday. Again have a great weekend...Bevie
