About Me:: I'm a happily married, stay-at-home mother of three beautiful, happy children...an eleven-year-old daughter and ten-year-old twin sons. We have two cats, Hazel and Peppermint. I've loved all things vintage for as long as I can remember.

I love creating unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry using vintage brooches and pendants. I've always felt that these gorgeous treasures are much too pretty to be hiding in a dresser drawer. I've enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people through my jewelry at craft shows and home parties. I find it incredibly fulfilling when people really connect with my creations.

I also decorate belt buckles for women using vintage and vintage-inspired embellishment, and I also make First Communion and Confirmation jewelry for girls. As an extension of this, I now make bright, colorful, fun necklaces for children, mostly girls but occasionally for boys, too. They make great birthday presents, plus the kids at the craft shows are always looking for some treasures for themselves.

My favorite materials are semiprecious gemstones, freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals and a wide variety vintage finds, especially rhinestone brooches!

Welcome!

Welcome to my first blog post! I have to say that I feel like a groundhog slowly emerging from winter hibernation after a very busy Christmas season. I was so busy and exhausted that I haven't had any desire to pursue any parties or shows other than the ones that have called me directly.

The past few weeks have been very busy, so the fun continues... I so enjoy when I get to work one-on-one with people when we can design something together. They get exactly what they want, in the size and/or length that they want and are very proud to say they helped design it. I think personal service like that is a considerable selling point for my business. I also have a very large selection of jewelry which is ready to wear so not everyone has to come stay for an hour (or more!).

I'm also honored that several customers have given me jewelry that they want me to rework into something new. Why let things sit in a drawer when you can turn it into something you love and will wear frequently?

As I've said before, this has been an incredible journey. I enjoyed spending time today with two repeat customers. I thoroughly enjoyed their company ... and the hugs when they left. How awesome is that?!
