I hate main stream lamps. I curise thrift stores searching for old, funky lamps that still have life in them. Here's two lamps that I refashioned.

I'm in California this week on business for my day job. I've been here LOTS on business but it's been awhile. I live in Alaska and the weather was around 60 the day before I left. After I got here, checked into my hotel, I walked across the street to get a bite to eat. I was SWEATING! It's HOT!

I did have time to marble some more paper before I left Anchorage but didn't have time to post them to my Etsy shop. I also have a marbled silk vest that I need to post. So fyi...I'll be adding

more bargin bin fabric marbled 1st with purple & spacks of blue then over marbled with black. I had a really hard time capturing this with the camera. My vision is to turn this into a wall hanging by tacking to a rough wood frame...like a canvas.

I had my first sale over last weekend...not on Etsy but a local fair. I'm so happy!! I'm guessing, as with most Etsy creations, art looks best is real life...and I am no photographer!
