Native Texan, graphic designer and musician Randy Hill, has been creating assemblage art (don't call it trash or junk) in one way or another since he was a child growing up on a farm in central Texas.
Hill is a unique mixture of graphic designer, fine artist, musician, hoarder and geneaologist. Mix it all together and you have something he calls, "Art Foundango." "I take cast off objects that have at one time been infused with time, thought and creativity and combine them to create my own unique dream.
Oh man, what I wouldn't give to go this festival in San Antone, next year! Between the booth price and the airfare, it's not likely to happen, but you never know. I needs me some good Tex-Mex food and a visit to the Alamo to replenish my Texan spirit. It's hard being a Texan and living in exile in the Pacific Northwest, you know.
Every good Texan needs a Texas shrine and now I've made mine. This took awhile to put together and it is made of tons of different things that
I've found on my treasure hunts.
