About Me:: Greetings from the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains!

I began sewing at an early age. My parents bought me my first sewing machine when I was in the 6th grade. I spent most of my youth making my own clothes.

As a young adult I went into the hair industry. During my cosmetology career, I owned and operated my own salons for over 20 years. I had a great time, even with the hassles of running your own business. When injuries forced me to retire, I went back to sewing. You do what you love, right? My college career included art classes, clay and jewelry making and business classes. All of my training and experience help in my business today.

My items are hand sewn with no sewing machine used. I tell people that is the primitive side of me, but they lean to the whimsical side of me.
