Making a Turtle on mandrel
Anything needing a hole running through it is made on a madrel. The madrels come in many sizes, including ring sizes. This year I will venture into making glass rings.

Off mandrel Switchback Pendant
I use this off mandrel method if I dont need a hole for beading. My teardrop pendants are made this way. After you make the design, you just form a loop at one end of the pendant so a necklace or cord can run through it. This is my favorite method when working with a torch.
