About Me:
My name is Jennifer and I love quilting and all things fabric. I am one of those people who didn't discover the extent of my creativity until I picked out some fabrics, picked up a needle and some thread, and made my first quilt. From then on I was hooked! My day job is in a highly structured, secure, and analytical field so my quilts, etc. are my outlet for my bottled up creativity. I hand piece and hand quilt my quilts; it might take a little longer but the results are truly rewarding and most importantly handmade. I find it quite interesting to take more modern fabrics and work them in to traditional patterns. I also enjoy creating useful and beautiful gifts that are typically made using my favorite fabric scraps that I cannot bear to waste!

Here is my youngest daughter's quilt in progress. From an early age she has loved the "10 Little Monkeys" rhyme so this fabric line was almost an automatic choice. The first pic is a close up of the hand quilting and the second gives a better idea of the pattern and colors. She is

Custom Quilt Work in Progress

I am a busy wife, mom, and career woman so I can guarantee you that this blog will be about more than just quilts and m

Hi Jennifer. I'm writing to see if you would go to artisanschallenge.blogspot.com and cast a vote for my needlefelted horse "The Ghost" which is in the challenge. Any support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Ardene

Hi, I live in New Waverly. I will be doing a craft show with my sister in Plano in November. I will post an announcement when she sends me all the details. Love your work. My grandmother quilts all the time for all kinds of reasons. She is doing one for her church fundraiser right now. Add me if you like. Have a nice day.
