About Me:

I love beads of all kinds, especially gemstones. I started collecting when I was still a kid, though I didn't start making jewelry with the beads until recently. I opened up a jewelry shop on Etsy in October 2007 at http://athenasdisciple.etsy.com on the recommendation of a friend, and followed up with a jewelry supply shop a few months later at http://dragonhoard.etsy.com. The best part of having both of these shops is the ability to make beautiful pieces of jewelry that I love, and also sell beautiful beads for others to make wonderful creations with. I love what I do and the hours spent shopping for quality beads, counting beads, photographing, listing, marketing, customer service and timely shipping are more than worth it.
