About Me:

My name is Deborah and I am 33 years old. I enjoy designing jewelry that is unique and inexpensive. I've always been discouraged when I go to an art show or a trunk show and everything is extremely expensive. I remember going to one last spring with a friend and ten minutes into the tents, she dropped $300 on a pair of earrings...that were made out of lost wax casting. The artist was extremely talented, but I can't afford to spend like that, as I'm sure most people can't. So, I set out to start creating pieces that many can afford, yet you know that there is not a kazillion other people out there with the same exact piece.The last three years have been a whirlwind, all beginning with my diagnosis of stage IV breast cancer. I've used my crafting as something to get my mind off of reality and a way to boost my income from being off work for treatment.I find much inspiration in my creative outlet, and it has almost a healing characteristic. I get to work in my pjs.....or not go in to work at all, if I don't want to! This schedule suits me well. Enjoy looking around my sites and many blessings to you!

Long, drawn out sigh......

i don't update my bloggy thingie, or social network near as much as i should...it just really is hard to keep up with all the nings, facebook, flickr, blah, blah, blah, yada, yada...i wish i had enough business to warrant an assistant...ha. i don't have enough business to pay me, let alone an assistant.
