About Me:
I love to read. If anyone out there has read a good book lately let me know. I obviously love to craft. I learned to crochet when I was eight. My grandmother taught me. I also like to embroider, knit, draw, paint and cross stitch.

I have traveled around the world and it has inspired my creativity. There are so many wonderful things to see and people to meet.

Granny Square Crochet - How to Crochet a Basic Square
By L Puckett

There are many different ways to crochet a granny square. With some patterns, you begin with the center stitch and crochet in a circular motion around the piece. Experience the Excitement of Modular Crochet
By Bella Scharf

Modular crochet, better known as "THE GRANNY SQUARE TECHNIQUE", is as popular as ever. In fact, the granny square pattern has been around for so many years and yet it's never gone out of style. It's a classic.

Crocheting modules in one specific pattern and then sewing them all together to form a larger piece of fabric - like an afghan -

The Beauty of Simple Crochet

The Beauty Of Simple Crochet
By Michelle Bery

Many people, when hearing the word crochet, instantly conjure the image of an elderly woman sitting in a chair, crochet hook held firmly in arthritic fingers as she concocts another table doily. Cute little stuffed things! Thanks for friending me. I see you like to read; I loved "Margarettown" by Gabrielle Zevin. Got it from the library but actually bought it, hardcover, from work. I still read it once in a while.

Great story...My grandma taught me as well, at a young age, how to knit. I then nearly forgot as I got older, but picked it up again really fast. I love it, but now I spend all my free time making jewelry...ha! Wishing you the best! -Sacheen
