We Love Etsy

A social network for people who love Etsy.com

Hi to all my fellow FASTers! Please post a little about yourself - your shop, fiber specialty, location, etc.

I'm thefunkyfelter on Etsy and a co-leader of EtsyFAST along with froggyfibers. My specialty area is felt making, but I dabble in many different fiber arts. I'm from Kansas City, MO, U.S.A.

Hello! I'm El and my shop is Tantalizing Stitches (tantalizingstitches on etsy). I crochet items for women, men, and children. Currently, I am on the little island of Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands, a territory of the U.S. but I will soon be relocating to Palo Alto, California. I can't wait to be able to actually be able to go to stores that have yarn instead of relying solely on the internet.

I am a very active member of Etsy For Animals (EFA) and 15% of all my crochet sales goes to helping the puppies.

I'm here!

Hi! I'm ThePaintedTiger, and mostly I specialize in hand dyed yarns, although I started out as a knitter of custom scarves, and still do them on occassion. I also dye a variety of silk things, including ties, scarves, and cording.

I'm in Iowa, right on the Mississippi River (ok, not literally, but it's 4 blocks from my house). Here are a couple of current examples of my work:

Hi everyone! I'm Julie of Boutique Pink Designs. My speciality is crochet fashion and accessories. I also sew and embroider. I used to sell on Ebay until the fees got so ridiculous and I now sell exclusively on Etsy and at local shows. I love all types of fiber and I am waiting for some extra income so that I can buy some of the gorgeous hand dyed yarn on Etsy that I have been drooling over. I've recently ventured into felting and I want to try my hand at dying too - when I have the time, which with four kids is kinda hard right now. Glad to be here with all of you and looking forward to networking and having a good time!

I am jmillen on Etsy and half of my business is fiber: I knit and felt. I make chemo caps and other types of hats, scarves, etc. I had a felted purse business for 4 years... machine felting that is.

I've recently discovered needle felting, and when I feel I have mastered some of the techniques I'll be adding new items.

The other half of my store is fine art cards and prints. I'm a Photoshop nut.

Hi, I'm Lynn, alias Katinka Knits. I just found this site. I'm a predominantly a knitter and knitting pattern designer, but like most of us, I dabble in just about anything crafty that inspires my imagination. My Etsy shop features original knitting patterns, limited edition knitting kits featuring discontinued yarns, and a few beaded stitch markers. I live in northern Colorado with 2 cats, in a newly remodeled little house in an older part of town.

Hi, I'm Tricia or LazyTcrochet on Etsy. I'm a self-taught yarn craftsperson. I make things with yarn, that is. I don't spin, but I love to knit and crochet. No doilies...mostly accessories. Always something new in my shop, but not too often do you see more than one of anything. I'm new to this site and am having trouble organizing all these cool new sites. Any suggestions how to keep it all together? I joined IndiePublic the other day. Are the two connected somehow because of the Ning ID ? It is confusing for me.
But glad to have found EtsyFAST!

Hi! My name is Gwen. My shop on etsy is gwendolynsgifts. I have been knitting for 7 years, and it has become my passion not just my hobby (I bet you all know what I mean!). I am from Knoxville, TN. I have recently started to quilt as well. I'm definitely not up to par on quilting yet, but it has been fun learning.

Nice to meet everyone!

HI all!

I am Bobbi, aka Kitty Grrlz (http://kittygrrlz.etsy.com) and I spun yarn and knit! :) I just recently learned how to Navajo Ply, so have been on a 3ply yarn kick! I'm also starting to knit more now that fall is coming. I've got 8 confirmed shows for the upcoming months and am looking to have a balance of handspun yarn and hand knit items available.

Will be busy busy busy over the next couple of months but will try and check in here!
