I hand dye fabrics and decided to dye cotton flannel and make receiving blankets with a crocheted edge. I dyed the crochet thread to match the flannel. Each blanket comes with a quilted burp cloth of the same fabric. check out the dyesmithy shop on etsy and let me know what you think.
